I became an artist because I wanted to ride motorcycles.
At the age of 14, and years before legally being able to take to the road, I sold artwork to raise money for my first bike, a Yamaha DT80. A year later, I received a sponsorship to race motocross. But life had other plans. My parents did not want me to race, so they did the only thing they could think of to stop me...they sent me to boarding school.
I finished school and went on to become a professional artist. But I confess, I drop my paintbrush and ride every chance I get.
